Bankdata has appointed Danny Dario Winandy as the new leader of Workplace & Support.
Danny will be responsible for an area that delivers secure and well-functioning workplace tools to employees in the member banks, while also creating strong conditions for software development and collaboration internally at Bankdata.
“When banks merge, Bankdata must have a product that is the obvious choice. We have previously seen that our workplace solutions stand strong when compared with other alternatives. That must continue to be the case. This is an important area, and with Danny we get a leader with experience in digital workplace, IT security and leadership in a modern technology organisation,” says Esben Viskum, Senior Vice President for Infrastructure, Operations & Security.
Danny Dario Winandy joins Bankdata from Lunar, where he has helped scale and lead the company’s Digital Workplace and IT Security teams since January 2022.
“My interest in the banking sector and critical infrastructure has really taken hold. That is why it was an exciting opportunity to continue working in this sector in a company like Bankdata, which is in the middle of an interesting development and at the same time has a very special role in the community with the banks,” he says.
“I am joining an area that already has a very strong foundation. That is why my first and most important task is to use my ears more than my mouth. I need to get to know the people, the organisation and the member banks very well.”
In the longer term, the task will be to continue developing the digital workplaces so they create even more value for both Bankdata and its member banks.
“In the end, it is about delivering solutions that create as little friction in everyday work as possible. They must be tools that work and make employees more effective in the tasks they need to succeed with,” says Danny Dario Winandy.
